SPQ-KP runs blocks through a fixed horizontal wire bank. No vertical or cross cuts. Operator sets wire spacing per recipe, blocks travel through cutting zone at PLC-controlled 1-3 m/min, sheets discharge onto output conveyor.

Manual or pneumatic loading of aged EPS block onto conveyor.

2. Wire Setup

Operator positions 20-40 horizontal wires per recipe (10-12 min manual setup vs 1-3 min on SPQ-B robotic).

3. Horizontal Slicing

Block travels through wire bank at 1-3 m/min; wires slice block into stacked sheets at ±0.5 mm tolerance.

4. Sheet Discharge

Sliced sheets discharge stacked onto output conveyor; operator picks up bundles for storage.

No — different machine architecture. If you need vertical/cross cuts in the future, you'd add a separate SPQ-B line. Most SPQ-KP buyers stay sheet-only for years.
What's the minimum sheet thickness?
10 mm (matches SPQ-B minimum). For thinner slicing (5-8 mm specialty products), consider SPQ-B with finer wire setup.
Wire setup time really 10-12 minutes vs SPQ-B's 3 minutes?
