From raw EPS beads to finished plates, cups and sheets — four core stages.
Pre-Expansion
Raw EPS beads expand 30-50× to the target density in a batch or continuous pre-expander. Density here sets your final product weight and cost.
Aging
Pre-expanded beads rest in fluidized silos for several hours so internal pressure stabilizes — essential for consistent molding.
Molding
Beads are steam-fused inside a mould (shape molding for plates/cups/boxes) or a large block mould (for sheets and craft stock).
Finishing
Block products are cut into sheets on hot-wire or CNC lines; molded products are demoulded, dried and packed for dispatch.
