Engineering Details

Boiler-grade industrial steel main body (welded, pressure-vessel grade). Inner walls: 0.3mm 304 stainless steel wedge plates with engineered hole pattern (12% open-area ratio). External body: mineral-wool insulation + galvanized exterior plates. Single front-door opening minimizes steam + vacuum leakage. TUV / Bureau Veritas pressure-vessel certified.

Function

Stores and supplies steam to mold chamber — buffer between boiler and machine for stable steaming cycles. Sized 0.5-1.0 m³ depending on machine model.

Engineering Details

AISI 304 stainless steel pressure vessel + Type 20G boiler-grade frame. Working steam pressure 0.4-0.8 MPa with safety relief valve at 2 bar max. Gemu-Germany or Burkert-Germany pressure-reducing valve + steam regulating valve. Insulated to minimize heat loss. TUV / Bureau Veritas certified.

Compressed-air storage powering pneumatic actuators, fill injectors, and ejection cylinders throughout each molding cycle.

Engineering Details

Vertical pressure vessel with safety relief valve + drain + pressure gauge. Working air pressure 0.5-0.7 MPa / consumption 1.0-1.2 m³ per cycle. Capacity 0.3-1.0 m³ depending on machine size. Festo-Germany pneumatic control unit + multi-injector hydraulic fill array. Water consumption 0.4-0.5 m³/day.

Function

Twin-motor parallel vacuum pump for fast cooling and ensuring block compacting — twin redundancy enables continuous operation even if one motor needs maintenance.

Engineering Details

2 × water-ring vacuum pumps in parallel (7.5-15 kW each depending on machine size, Becker / Edwards-class performance). Cylindrical vacuum buffer tank 5-7 m³ with water spraying + sieving units. Reaches 0.06 MPa absolute in 30-60 seconds. Water-spray cooling reduces residual moisture <0.5%.

Principe de Fonctionnement

BM-1200 fusionne billes EPS pré-expansées en blocs 1 200×600×300 mm via injection vapeur depuis les moitiés haut + bas du moule. PLC contrôle pression vapeur, temps de chauffe, refroidissement vide, éjection.

Billes EPS mûries transportées pneumatiquement du silo de maturation au moule — temps de remplissage 25-40 s.

2. Injection Vapeur

Vapeur à 0,08-0,12 MPa injectée dans la chambre du moule pendant 60-90 s depuis les moitiés haut + bas (alimentée depuis réservoir 0,4-0,8 MPa via détendeur) — les billes se ramollissent et fusionnent.

3. Refroidissement Vide

La pompe à vide tire 80-90 kPa pendant 90-150 s — accélère refroidissement interne, prévient déformation bloc à l'éjection.

4. Éjection du Bloc

Le moule s'ouvre ; l'éjecteur pneumatique pousse le bloc fini sur le convoyeur à rouleaux pour maturation ou découpe directe.

The questions buyers ask most often before placing an order.

When should I choose BM-1200 over BM-1400?
BM-1200 is the right choice if you produce thinner blocks (300mm height) or smaller block sizes for specialty packaging. Below 500 blocks/month, BM-1200's lower CAPEX (Contact us for pricing vs BM-1400's 80-110k) pays back faster. Above 500 blocks/month, BM-1400 wins on throughput per machine.
What block sizes can BM-1200 produce?
Standard 1,200 × 600 × 300 mm. The quick-change cavity insert allows variations: 1,200 × 600 × 200mm thin blocks for ceiling panels, 1,200 × 600 × 400mm thicker blocks. Mold-change 4-6 hours.
What density range and bead grades does BM-1200 handle?
8-30 kg/m³ (±3% tolerance). Compatible with standard EPS and fast-cycling beads. For FR/graphite EPS at the upper end of that range, consider BM-1400 or BM-1800 for higher throughput.
Steam boiler requirement?
Minimum 0.5 ton/h at 0.2 MPa. Most small factories use 0.8 ton/h boiler.
