Why ChinaEps for This Solution

Engineering specifically tuned for this application — not a generic line.

Vertical SPB Block Molding Stability

Vertical SPB-WZ-A vacuum molder produces 4-6 m³ blocks with ±2% density uniformity — generic horizontal molders give ±5-8%, causing CNC cut variation.

Specialty Cutters for Graphite + FR

SPQ-FR has dust-extraction + ATEX features for graphite EPS (combustible dust). Standard cutters can ignite graphite particles during long cuts.

2-3 Day Aging Discipline

Construction board needs 48-72h aging vs fish box 6-24h. Skipping = warped board on the wall. We design silo capacity for full aging discipline.

1.5-3T Boiler Sizing

Block load requires 5-10x fish box steam. We size boiler + steam piping per actual production volume, not nameplate marketing numbers.

Utility Consumption Calc

Steam · Air · Cooling Water

Per-equipment + total demand for sizing your boiler, compressor, and cooling tower.

Steam Consumption (3-machine board line)

Equipment Per Unit Qty Total
EPS Pre-expander (large) 200-400 kg/h 1 200-400 kg/h
SPB Block Molders 300-500 kg/h 3 900-1,500 kg/h
Pipeline loss (≈10%) - - 110-190 kg/h
Total Steam Demand - - 1,210-2,090 kg/h
Recommendation Recommended boiler: 2 T/h for 3-machine line (much higher than fish box due to large block volume). Use 1.5T for 2 machines, 3T for 4+ machines.

Compressed Air Consumption

Equipment Per Unit Qty Total
Pre-expander pneumatics 0.3-0.5 m³/min 1 0.3-0.5 m³/min
SPB block molder vacuum + clamping 0.8-1.5 m³/min 3 2.4-4.5 m³/min
SPQ-A cutter pneumatics 0.4-0.8 m³/min 2 0.8-1.6 m³/min
Block transport + handling 0.5-1.0 m³/min - 0.5-1.0 m³/min
Total Air Demand - - 4.0-7.6 m³/min
Recommendation Recommended air compressor: 8-10 m³/min at 0.8 MPa. Air storage tank 3-5 m³. Air dryer required for SPB sensors.

Cooling Water Consumption

Equipment Per Unit Qty Total
SPB block molders 8-12 m³/h 3 24-36 m³/h
Vacuum + block cooling 4-8 m³/h 1 4-8 m³/h
Pre-expander cooling 2-4 m³/h 1 2-4 m³/h
Total Circulating Water - - 30-48 m³/h
Actual Make-up Water (8h) - - 25-40 m³/day
Recommendation Recommended cooling tower: 50-70 m³/h (large vs fish box). Cooling water pumps: 3 pcs. Water pool: 25-35 m³.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the aging time for EPS insulation board?
48-72 hours, much longer than fish box (6-24h). Insulation board must release residual pentane + moisture fully before cutting; otherwise cuts warp on the wall. We design 8-12 silos for the long aging discipline.
Can the same line produce standard + graphite + flame-retardant?
Yes, but with care. Graphite EPS requires dust extraction (ATEX for combustible particle). FR uses different ignition-test verified beads. Same SPB block molder + same SPQ-A cutter handles all 3, but with bead grade + cutter wire-temp adjustment between batches.
What block size do we produce?
4 m × 1.2 m × 0.6 m to 6 m × 1.4 m × 1.0 m (4-6 m³ per block). Block size determines cutter throughput. Larger block = fewer cuts but heavier blocks need overhead crane.
Why such a large boiler (1.5-3T) vs fish box (1T)?
Block volume is 50-100x fish box per cycle. Steam absorbed during block expansion is correspondingly higher. We sized for actual customer block production volume, not nameplate.
How does the CNC cutter handle different board thicknesses?
SPQ-A multi-wire setup cuts 12-200 boards from one block, thickness 1-100mm. Operator sets thickness in PLC; CNC adjusts wire spacing + tension automatically.
What is the floor area for a 50 m³/day board plant?
1,000-1,500 m² total: 200 m² pre-expansion + silo, 400 m² block molding, 400 m² cutting + storage, 200-400 m² boiler / utilities / crane.
