Working Principle

SPQ-SK uses CNC-controlled hot-wire cutting optimized for acoustic foam patterns. Operator selects from bundled acoustic pattern library (or imports custom CAD), machine cuts at higher 4 m/min speed than decorative cutters since acoustic panels prioritize throughput over surface finish.

SK2 (2-axis) is right for flat acoustic panels with perforation patterns and perimeter contours. SK3 (3-axis) is right for 3D acoustic patterns (wedge, pyramid). If you only make flat perforated panels, save money with SK2. If you make 3D acoustic, you need SK3.
Can SPQ-SK cut other foam materials besides EPS?
Yes — EPS, EPP, polyurethane (PU) acoustic foam, melamine foam all compatible. Material setting on HMI adjusts wire temperature and feed rate.
What's the minimum perforation hole size?
15 mm diameter (limited by hot-wire kerf). For smaller perforations, mechanical perforation is required as secondary step.
